CREATIVE PROCESS
1. Project Research & Planning
Once the project scope and details are figured out, I started out by creating a creative brief in Figma first. Client background (conceptual), such as brand personalities and detailed project goals are stated clearly in the design brief, including the mandatory elements. After that, I continued by doing a detailed research on event posters and compiled a list of inspirations and touch-points from outstanding designs.
2. Sketching & Feedback Session
After some basic ideas are developed, I started to create sketches in Procreate. I tried to put texts and illustrations into different layouts to seek the best ones that balanced out all the content well. There were in total 10 initial sketches created. After discussion with my project supervisor during the feedback session, 3 of the initial drafts were chosen to be finalized by adding more details and hierarchy in the pre-production sketches.

3. Digital Design
The 3 chosen sketches were then turned into vectors and shapes in the Adobe Illustrator. Graphical elements throughout the series like the flowers, smiley faces and dialogue bubbles are drawn with pen tool. The final poster designs and refinements were mostly finished in the Adobe Photoshop.
4. Presentation & Deliver
After the 3-pcs series was finished, I created a presentation slides in Figma, to present my creative processes throughout the project and showcase the design elements and decisions.
